Introduction to Childcare

A little about the owner, Monica Anderson: I am a mother of a teenage son and a daughter who is a toddler.  I have been working with children in pre-school and private home settings for over 15 years.  I have an AA in Early Childhood Education and I’m continuously attending workshops to expand my knowledge.  My love of children and my enjoyment of caring for them, as well as my education and work experience, are expressed in the quality of care that I give to the children at our family day care.  I am dedicated to creating an environment where your children feel safe cared for and where my home feels like being with family. 

About the staff;  

Tresjere ( pronounced Treasure),  Tresjere is a student at CSUN, majoring in Liberal Studies, she was a live in Nanny for a year, does in home baby sitting, has taught vacation bible school and has worked as a teachers assistant at Windsor Hills Elementary School and has been with us since September of 2011. 

Jalina is our drop in substitute who is a graduate from Fairfax High School and is going to school in hopes to become a pediatric nurse.  Jalina loves working with children and has been with us since June of 2011

 Anderson Family Day Care is licensed under the state of California Department of Social Services to provide day care for up to 12 children.  For this purpose, “child care” means non-medical care for children who are in need of personal services, supervision, age appropriate activities and education.
